DAY 1 / Friday May 23, 2025:
NICE / NAPLES / SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO
2:30 p.m.: Meet at Nice Airport with a cabin suitcase + small backpack
4:00 p.m.: Take-off - Arrival at 5:30 p.m. Naples airport
6:30 p.m.: MINI BUS departure from Naples towards SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO (approximately 215 km)
8:30 p.m.: Arrival at the 3* hotel - Check-in to accommodation (……………………).
9:00 p.m.: Dinner
DAY 2 / Saturday May 24, 2025:

7:00 a.m.: Breakfast,
7:30 a.m.: MINIBUS departure for Pietrelcina
9:30 a.m.: Arrival in the village . Discovery of the town where Padre Pio was born on May 25, 1887.
Visit to the Padre Pio Museum in Pietrelcina - Attached to the convent of the Capuchin friars is the Padre Pio Museum. A stop not to be missed due to the importance of the objects found. Visiting the Padre Pio Museum is almost an emotional experience.
Visit to the parish church of Saint Anne where he was baptized
Visit to the Torreta , not far from Padre Pio's house. A small room, built on the rock, which is accessed by a steep staircase. This small room housed Padre Pio between 1909 and 1912, difficult years of illness that kept him away from the convent.
Free visit of the family home , as well as the Capuchin convent.
Eucharistic celebration at the Capuchin convent (subject to change).

DAY 3 / Sunday May 25, 2025:
DAY IN SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO
Church - San Giovanni Rotondo
"It was in San Giovanni Rotondo, on September 20, 1918, that Padre Pio received the stigmata that inflicted considerable suffering on him throughout his life. Made famous by his healing powers, he attracted many followers and was canonized in 2002. He received several apparitions of our Lord Jesus Christ. He died after celebrating the 50th anniversary of receiving his stigmata."
7:30 a.m.: Breakfast,
9:00 a.m.: Pilgrimage to the small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Graces, where Padre Pio used to celebrate Mass until the day it became too small to accommodate the crowd of faithful. Work began on building a new church, the current sanctuary of Saint Mary of Graces. It was in this church that Padre Pio celebrated his last Mass on September 22, 1968.
Discovery of symbolic places: the confessional, the crypt where the tomb of the Saint is located, the room of Padre Pio's personal effects, his cell, the crucifix of stigmatization.
12:00 p.m.: Lunch
2:00 p.m.: Passage in front of the Casa della Sofferenza.
This hospital was wanted by Padre Pio as a "place of Prayer and Science", where "the sick, the doctors and the priests would be reserves of love, which, the more abundant it was in a person, the more it would be communicated to others".
Visit the Church of Saint Pio , an extraordinary work by the architect Renzo Piano, inaugurated after the Canonization of Padre Pio.

La torretta
Visite de la Torreta, non loin de la maison natale de Padre Pio. Une petite pièce, construite sur le rocher à laquelle on accède par un escalier raide. Cette petite salle accueillit Padre Pio entre 1909 et 1912, années difficiles de maladie qui l'éloignèrent du couvent.
Eglise Sainte-Marie des Anges, où Padre Pio célébra sa première messe. C’est ici que le Saint expérimenta des extases, notamment la fusion des coeurs avec Jésus, faisant de l’église un véritable refuge de prière et de grâce divine.

Passage à Piana Romana, où la famille de Padre Pio possédait des terres. C’est ici qu’il reçut pour la première fois les stigmates. Dans les campagnes de Piana Romana, il gardait le troupeau et passait des heures sous une cabane de paille, près d’un orme, à ,se consacrer à la lecture, à l’étude et à la prière. La rencontre avec Frère Camillo de Sant’elia a Pianisi éveilla en Padre Pio l’étincelle de sa vocation.

Saint Michael Sanctuary
"During this pilgrimage we will head to the region of Puglia - the spur of the Italian boot. We will go to pray at the Sanctuary of Saint Michael of Mount Gargano, the oldest sanctuary in Western Europe dedicated to the archangel where many pilgrimages have taken place since the Middle Ages. According to tradition, around the year 490 the Archangel Michael appeared several times to the Bishop of Sipontum, near a cave. The feast of the Archangel of Mount Gargano is May 8, which is called the Saint Michael of Spring."

8:30 a.m.: Departure by MINI BUS to Monte Sant'Angelo - Arrival 9:00 a.m.
Also known as "Terra dell' Arcangelo", it is the highest point in the Gargano (843m).
10H30 : Visite privée à l'hôpital Casa della Sofferenza. Cet hôpital a été voulu par Padre Pio comme « lieu de Prière et de Science », où « les malades, les médecins et les prêtres seraient des réserves d’amour, qui, plus celui-ci serait abondant dans une personne, plus il se communiquerait aux autres ».
12h00 : Déjeuner à l'hôtel
14h00 : Départ en MINI BUS vers Monte Sant ’Angelo - Arrivée 14H30
Connu aussi sous le nom de "Terra dell' Arcangelo", c’est le lieu le plus élevé du Gargano (843m).
La première apparition de l’Archange aurait eu lieu le 8 mai 490, les suivantes en 492 et 493, et la dernière, en 1656. C’est à partir de ces événements que s’est diffusé dans le monde occidental le culte de saint Michel.
