NOVENA to Saint Padre PIO
FROM SEPTEMBER 14 TO 23
Saint Pio said this novena every day for all those who recommended themselves to his prayers.
Each formulation of the grace implored is followed by the recitation of:
“Our Father” because of submission to the Will of God,
of an “Ave” because Mary is there to support this prayer and
of a “Glory to the Father” to express, in advance and in confidence, our thanks to God
A novena is a prayer offered for a particular intention, repeated nine days in a row.
This Irresistible novena is particularly effective for:
The hard days
Periods of major storms
The difficult causes
It is called "irresistible" because it is based on the three promises of the Lord presented in the Gospel. Padre Pio recited it very often while recommending it to those around him. These prayers pronounced by the great Saint have a very particular force to address Merciful Jesus on difficult causes.
