The Rosary of Saint Michael the Archangel
The Chaplet of Saint Michael , also called the Chaplet of Angels or Angelic Crown, is a powerful prayer that dates back to the appearance of the archangel to a Portuguese nun in the 18th century.
Anyone who prays with the rosary of St. Michael will receive help during his earthly and heavenly life.
This is the promise made by the Archangel Saint Michael to Antonia d'Astoniac, a Portuguese Carmelite nun to whom he is said to have appeared in the 18th century:
"I want you to repeat nine times in my honor a Pater and three Aves, in union with each of the nine choirs of Angels" ,
Saint Michael makes this request to him because he is the one nicknamed the "Prince of the heavenly militia", the one who fights with the angels against Satan and the forces of Evil.
It is said that he also receives help from the Queen of Angels, the Virgin Mary, hence the importance of praying the rosary.
The rosary of Saint Michael is specific and has 39 beads, divided into nine groups of four beads (one for the Our Father, and three for the Hail Mary).
For each group of beads, the intercession of one of the nine choirs of angels is requested.
Then the rosary ends with four beads during which one must recite an Our Father for each archangel (Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel and Saint Raphael), then one for one's guardian angel.
